Is there a new or retro 80s rhythm machine like the Roland Cr 1000 where you pick genre ,variations fills etc eg rock 1 variation 6 ,intro /fill
the CR-1000 sounds ace but they seem to want a ridiculous amount for what must be a simple 38 year old box . I love the sound of it paired with say a DX7 or D50
wondered if there was an equivalent , it’s quite compact too which is good
I wonder if resident electronics gods

know if the electronics in the CR-1000 are pretty easy to fix if needed
I notice it uses the regular batteries it has to run it to store memory instead of a soldered on cr2032 type thing like some of the synths & effects units
thanks in advance Paul

sequencer, drum arranger…. One of the best ever made. Does exactly that. Got tonnes of retro styles and it has a bunch of extra style discs.
