Quite a lot of interesting but not outstanding kit for sale and more PRS SE Bernie Marsdens than you can shake a stick at. If you fancied one of those, a good opportunity to buy one owned by the signatory, at a decent price.

Isn’t this all the stuff ATB couldn’t shift? He was a monster player, no doubt, but never got why star-owned guitars (beyond the truly iconic ones) are worth more.

Me too.  I've always had a bit of a hankering for one, but not a strong enough hankering to shell out what the original ones seem to go for these days.

Me too.  I've always had a bit of a hankering for one, but not a strong enough hankering to shell out what the original ones seem to go for these days.

The Moog electronics seem to be designed to confuddle a regular rock guitarist - compressor for one pickup and expander for the other, plus active EQ. Heavy, too, with the all-maple construction. I shifted mine not long after buying it.

I'd go for the Standard sans all the Moog crap.  The shape always appealed rather than the La-De-Da Gunner Graham electronic cobblers.

There are two guitars in that sale that I remember playing - the blue Squier at my dad's 50th when Bernie kindly let me jam along, and the "Bernie Marsden" Destroyer that I remember being plonked with at a NYE party. I'd love to be able to give either of them a home but I suspect the bidding will get too silly for my means.
