So AI is using 0.006% of US total consumption.
Less than 1% of 1%.
By their claim, in 2026, cars will still emit over 20 times as much CO2 as every data centre combined. They switch in that bit from just AI consumption to everything, which is disingenuous at best, and probably a deliberate attempt to deceive.
Essentially it's a lot of scaremongering about statistical noise. I wonder who's behind it, and what they're trying to distract from.
