This happened on my Stomp as well; but the middle part came away inside the USB plug as I pulled it out of the socket.

I applied a thin layer of super glue to the broken end of the centre piece; replaced it back into the socket using the USB plug to correctly apply pressure and the right location...and now its working fine again!

I hope if they ever bring out a Stomp v2 they move to USB-C. Why manufacturers are still bringing out products with USB-A sockets is beyond me.
