Yeah exactly. It's really annoying.

I want to scroll to the bottom of a website to find the t&c's, the contact page, etc.. etc.. etc... typically that is generally where I expect to find it, if it isn't at the top.

The awful design of the Polygon website is a typical example. Yes, there is a menu button... but shit, just have all that stuff on the page.

I dunno... born in 84, grew up with the 90's websites...

It annoys me when they don't have any pagination and you have to scroll for ten minutes rather than being able to skip 10 pages etc.

I think the lack of pagination is having a deleterious effect on the way we consume media.

I agree with Drew, but I also hate it when a site has those "top 25 thing you might give a shit about, split over 28 pages" articles, purely to get extra clicks and ad view. I have adblock suckers - not gonna get me!!

It grind my gears having to scroll all the way down a porn site to get to the spread shots. They should put the pictures up in reverse order to save all that malarkey.

It's a classic example of design over function. Having been building design-led websites for the last 5 or 6 years, I can honestly say it's the most frustrating existence known to man. The designers always want to build something cool, and if that means losing any form of navigation, or hiding it out of sight, or having so many animations that the site's impossible to use on anything but the latest Mac fucking Pro, that's absolutely fine.

Worse, when people complain that the website doesn't work for them and they can't find their way round it, it's always the tech's fault.
