It’s a bit shit this year, and I say that as a fan…

Not really any very memorable songs, it’s all about the performance/choreography and the gimmicks now.

I’m going with Croatia as a possible winner.

I'm honestly surprised Estonia haven't got any points (yet).  And Finland doing really badly.

Even Sir Terry Wogan (RIP) would have trouble making a case for political voting this year*... although both Ukraine and Israel got big public votes.  I'm quite surprised by the latter, I have to say.

I think Israel has been the best so far, followed by Ukraine, but Ukraine's was ruined by rap.

I saw a little bit of Ireland's Bambie Thug and then later Switzerland's Nemo.

Im not really sure either had good songs, but they were memorable acts. Our local playground has one of those spinning wheels.. hard enough to stand on it, let alone sing and do tricks.

After putting Croatia, Israel and Ukraine momentarily at the top, Eurovision wisely chose to stage next year's competition in a country almost certain not to be a war zone.

Oh, we've got two threads now.  That was a strange year for Eurovision.  Switzerland wasn't my favourite, but a worthy winner, I think.
