As a sweetener, I can add Steve Harris' autograph to the one that sells:

A 20-year-old 'as new' Les Paul for £700, including whatever Steve Harris' autograph is worth...

Half the price of a Yamaha SG1800 series, which certainly aren't as good (have owned the 1000, 1802 and 2000).

These were £900 in my local in 2004, at the same time Fujigen were building the Epiphone Elitist. Closest model now is probably the FGN NLC10, but they aren't the same.

8lb flat is good for non-chambered, especially in Custom colours.

£599 in my local when I bought one in 2003 - and a £50 upcharge for the ‘Custom’ models! Note, these aren’t FGN guitars, but were believed to be made in the Fujigen area of Japan - the exact builder l/factory was never confirmed, and even the Tanglewood connection was speculation based on the use of the same headstock inlays across some of their later MIC/MIK offerings. They really are quite good though, and usually represent secondhand bargains for what you get - I’ve had a few over the years :)

Lakeland Music in Penrith had a couple for £900 in 2004, with a hardshell case; they were/are a Tanglewood Dealer, but they said that they're Fujigen-made. I did buy a Tanglewood Signature TSB 57 from them years later, hoping it would be the same level as my dad's plaintop 'burst.

The checklist I have just says handcrafted in Japan, with QC checks by I. Hagiwara and approved by M. Kawana.

EDIT: Isami Hagiwara is now a Master Craftsman for Sugi Guitars...

After graduating from the ESP Guitar Craft Academy, Hagiwara worked at the Fujigen factory for 7 years before joining Sugi Guitars. He is in charge of all woodworking aspects of the guitars. Hagiwara is responsible for setting all quality standards for our guitars.

Amazed that hasn't sold. Thank you for the offer, but I have a Carvin SB for my funky needs.

Can't give away the Harris autograph with the black, as £550 is keen enough for a Japanese Les Paul.

EDIT: White on hold for a Gumtree-er.
