This is what always gets me - I read his autobiography and the same thing came across.  It mentioned early recordings from Sweden - if you find those it's amazing. His late teens and most of the style is developed.

It was the same with EVH - just so identifiable and focused from so young. Personally I'm just finding my feet at 51.......

I'm actually not a huge fan of his overall playing and songwriting - but I love how passionate he is,  how you can tell its him from his touch and vibrato. And he did change playing forever! 

In a world of generic YT demo players, we need more Yngwies!
