Yeah - I had the same question mark re MV but I had no issues so far. 

With the soul stuff in a rehearsal room I was fine on 2W mode and the attenuator full up. 

For more rocky stuff with my louder jammier band I’ve had it on 16W and between a couple of drive pedals and the low/high switch had no trouble getting exactly what I wanted out of it and being heard. 

I think you’d want to mix it for live use, not least because it’s quite beamy, but I don’t think you’d have problems. 

My biggest challenge in use is that it’s so good at some many settings I’d like to be able to footswitch between them and can’t! I’ve never had that feeling with a single channel amp before..!!
