Never really listened to much of Chris Cornell, think I'll start listening to a bit more.
Love his voice.

Yes I'm a big fan too (covered this very song a couple of Cover Challenges ago in fact), so much variety and range of textures whilst always sounding immediately like him. No-one songs like him any more
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

Had and still have a lot of love for his voice, he was a massive loss to music. I’m not ashamed to say I shed a tear the day he died.

Agree :+1:  He was an awesome & versatile vocalist, still much missed.

His cover of G'n'R's 'Patience' is utterly sublime.

One of the best to ever pick up a mic. I saw him in Hyde Park once, supporting Aerosmith, and at time at time I only knew him as “the Audioslave guy”. Everyone was blown away and I’ve been a huge Soundgarden fan ever since. Never got to see them live though

  • Yeah, amazing singer, and Soundgarden my no 1 band, saw them four times and Audioslave once. So much soul and blues in his voice. So sad he left us early, there would have been so much more magnificent music and performances to come. Hopefully the last Soundgarden recordings will come out someday.

Definitely one of the best ever, made a number of my drunken fantasy band lineups simply because he was the best of that era.

That looks like a good idea for a new thread.
