NGD: Flamey ESP LTD!

Bit of a spontaneous purchase which popped up on Facebook the other day.. I've been after a full fat, vintage ESP horizon for a LONG time and still haven't found the right one in the UK, but I did own an old LTD H2 horizon for a while which was a great guitar which I regret selling. Then this H-300 popped up out of nowhere and I couldn't say no

Pleasantly surprised by the tone from the EMG HZ pickups too. Although I may still change them.

I have found that negative opinions of the EMG HZ pickups are usually spouted by people that have little or no experience of playing a guitar fitted with them, or maybe are expecting active EMG type sounds.
They aren't the greatest humbucker pickup ever made, but they certainly aren't the worst.
As ever, if you like something, you like it & sod the rest
