Picked this up thanks to an absentee bid I’d placed at an auction & forgotten about. The surprise invoice hit my inbox about 3 days after I commissioned a BF-50 build from a custom amp builder. Oops.
oh well. Got a few months to enjoy this in the meantime. And yes, wow - the breakup tone is every bit as lovely as I’d always hoped

I bought mine exclusively to use for bass, and the break-up tone is fantastic for that too. I don’t need to attenuate it, it’s just right for band volume like that. Astoundingly loud for a 50W bass amp! Louder than my 500W modern ultra-lightweight one… really.
