There's a MIDI CC channel assigned to each of the footswitches on the QC, so set up the Morningstar to send the appropriate CC message and you're sorted.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

    Me again !
Well having sorted out the Morningstar to do what I want I was still tempted to try something simpler. Although the Morningstar is unbelievably good it seems too sophisticated for my needs.
Anyhow I’ve got hold of a Hotone Ampero control, but I’ll be dammed if I can’t get the Ampero working with the Quad Cortex.
Anyone got any hands on experience of using an Ampero Control with a Quad Cortex?

Decided that the Morningstar just works and regardless of being OTT for my needs it is so good and relatively easy to programme and use that I’m keeping it.
    Ampero control FS imminently :)

Let me sell mine first! :-)

Edit: TBH, I'm surprised that you couldn't get it working with the QC. It's worked well with everything I've ever tried it with and it's a doddle to program. The only reason I'm selling mine is because I've bought an MC6 Pro and there's no need to keep it.

The only downsides of the Control (IMHO) are:

1: The screen telling you what preset you're in doesn't have "scribble strip" capability, just numbers.
2: It doesn't have MIDI In capability. I use SongBook Pro on my iPad to tell my ES-5 (and soon, my MC6 Pro) what song I'm looking at and it sends the PC command required to load the correct presets.

I probably didn’t spend enough time trying and I am so ignorant when it comes to MIDI.
Easier to stick with the MC6 PRO.
Ampero now advertised but slightly higher than yours so I’m sure yours will go first
