FS/FT: 2008 Fender Hot Rod '52 Telecaster

Hi, 

I have a 52 Hot Rod Tele which I'm looking to move on. I bought it from Andertons a few years ago, (time for a baseless assumption) I think this is the best tele in the USA range before going up to the Custom Shop.

It has the "thin skin" nitro finish which doesn't seem to be coming on Fender USA guitars. This model comes with a Seymour Duncan Mini Humbucker in the neck, which gives a really nice alternative to the standard tele neck pickup.

Its in generally very good condition, some small chips in the finish on the back and a black scuff mark (can be seen in the photos)

it is (according to my kitchen scales) 7lbs 8oz

I have one of these, great guitars. The nitro is really thin so this looks in great nick. The mini hb makes the middle position amazing! GLWTS

This makes a huge difference to how useable it is, no longer muffled in comparison to the bridge pickup

I used to fawn over this exact model back in the late-2000s! Love it and the mini-HB. GLWTS!

The 2 mods that transform this guitar from good to brilliant are to bypass the tone control on the neck pickup and replace the 375k tone pot with a 250k one. 

Easily reversible, literally 5 minutes with a soldering iron, and makes the pickups balance so much better (no harshness on the bridge or wooliness on the neck).
