Flight case alternatives...?

I was thinking about one of these:

...but for not much more money you can get a proper flight case. I think the gig bag would be more convenient though. Anyone got one, or something similar?

Everything of mine lives in a Studio Slips 'clamshell'...awesome unless it's getting thrown around in the back of a transit.

I'd get a flightcase, I've slowly worked through all my gear getting proper cases as I could afford them and now everything is flightcased....it means your stuff stays mint and you have complete piece of mind when muppets are helping you load up, and I dont find them inconvenient at all, I guess it depends how often you're throwing stuff in a van

 

I usually use swanflight as the service and the cases are superb....and actually I've checked the site and you can get a swan case for the same money
