Dire Straits Gone From Apple Music?

Fancied listening to the first album but all I can find is a best of compilation. Anyone else having the same problem?

Also gone from Amazon, and I listened to Love over Gold about a month ago so its recent. Only a best of on there now.

The Reddit thread suggests it's a licensing issue and should be back to normal service soon.  Very little on the iTunes Store and the same thread on Reddit states they're gone on Spotify too.

People who the physical media still have the option of ripping the CD\Vinyl and putting it on their phone.

I'm not sure it's necessary to have physical media, even CDs suffer from disc rot rendering them useless.

But this is one reason I don't subscribe to streaming services and keep a backup of my digital media, whether purchased or ripped.

Looks like that’s the case; Communiqué, Making Movies, Love Over Gold and On Every Street are now back

Ive got CD’s from the 80s that play perfectly
