Dreadbox: converting expression to CV?

I have a couple of Dreadbox pedals and love them, but this synthy nonsense about having a CV input instead of one for a standard expression pedal… is there a way around it, short of spending another 90 quid on a Psyclop?

I think your best bet is to hope something you have lying around has a CV out. The modular pedals like the Zoia do, as do some Arturia key controllers. Apparent the DOD FX17 wah/volume spits out Cv, which surprised me. 

Copilot FX has some stuff to do conversions, but struggling to see anything for less than £90 unless there’s a 2nd hand deal. Kenton do midi to cv boxes
