Wiring two effects togother.

I fancy having a go at housing two effects in the same enclosure and using the same input/output jacks.
If i do this will both pcbs need connecting to each other or is it just a case of connecting both sets of wiring to the jacks/power supply etc.

I'm interested in this too. Are you stacking one pedal into another, or either/or?

  • Totally depends how you want to run them and whether you want them to switch the on and off together or individually.

  • I guess together.
I'm thinking of a fuzz (pretty basic ie bazz fuss or a one knob etc), but with something else ie green ringer or suchlike.

  • Or even a drive with maybe a sho or other boost.

  • In which case you are simply wiring the output of the first circuit to the input of the second.  Then the input of the first to the footswitch and the output of the second to the footswitch.

With regards to power, would you just twist the 2 black wires together, and the 2 red wires together, and solder them to the 9v socket just the same as usual?
