Ampero Stage/Stomp owners: Can it do reasonable pitch shifting?

Looking for something to play around with that is an update on my HXFX.

Ampero Stage ticks a lot of boxes with a touchscreen and a mobile app for editing...BUT I really need it to be able to do a virtual capo like the HXFX. Basically I want it to downtune my guitar by a semitone for some Eb tunes.

Nothing really all that clear on the youtube demos.

Do you know if the pitch-shifting is reasonable? Doesn't have to be perfect, just workable in a band mix.

My Ampero Stomp is superb. I genuinely love it more than any similar device I've owned, and that includes the HX Stomp.

Instantly getting a great amp sound is so much easier than the Line6.

Alas the pitch effects are the weakest part of the system. I can recommend it for everything else, but not pitch.

I'd have another look at the pitch stuff tomorrow and update with my attempt at a virtual capo.

    Thanks.

Since posting this I had a look on the Ampero facebook group and it seems that nearly everyone says that the pitch effects are not much good.

It's a shame because everything else is superb. It doesn't affect me because I rarely use pitch effects.

    Slightly off topic...

How does the stomp 2 compare to the gt1000 core or line 6 stomp for delays, reverbs and modulations?  I'm not interested in digital drives or amp modelling, but am quite keen to get an all in one box to replace my dd500/mobius and h9/line 6 hx one(on my smaller board)

I really like the effects in the Ampero. There's a nice selection of delays, mods and reverbs. I particularly like the shimmer options. Most come in mono and stereo versions too.

Might be overkill though if you're not into the amp modelling?

This Michael Nielsen video really highlights the quality of the effects.
