The first record I bought with my own money was...?

Nevermind by Nirvana (up to this point my taste in music consisted mainly of what my Dad liked. But i really wanted to know what those black tee's with the yellow smileys were all about. Game changed.)

The record that made me want to be in a band was...?

Let There Be Rock by ACDC (Thank's Dad)

The record I've played more than any other is...?

Aenima by Tool (it just took over my life like no other and was the begining of a 10/15 year obsession with this band).

The record that always makes me feel good is...?

In To The Music by Van Morrison

The record I turn to when I'm down is...?

(see above; Bright Side of the Road is the ultimate song to restore your balance). Otherwise id go for this guy:

    Street Hassle by Lou Reed

The record I think is the most underrated of all time is..?

Then Play On by Fleetwood Mac (no idea how well recieved it was at the time, but it never seems to make any 'Greatest Album' lists and i hardly hear it mentioned in Peter Green related articles either.)

I'll submit the Icarus Line's Penance Soiree as a choice B.

The record with my favourite cover art is...?

The Private Press by DJ Shadow

The record with my favourite title is...?

    Bitches Brew by Miles Davis

The record I can't understand why everyone loves is....?

Anything by Kings Of Leon after the first record.

Any Foo Fighters record after The Colour & The Shape.

    Last record I bought?

Lou Reed Takes No Prisoners & Avowed Slavery by Icarus Line.

The record I'm most looking forward to in 2014...?

    The next Icarus Line album

The greatest record of all time...?

Astral Weeks (more of a magical happening than a record.)

  • The first record I bought with my own money was...?

    - I’m actually not sure. It could well have been “Permission to Land” by The Darkness, but I don’t actually know.

The record that made me want to be in a band was...?

    - The above… Permission to Land.

The record I've played more than any other is...?

    - Possibly the same response here too

The record that always makes me feel good is...?

    - Oooh lately it’d have to be the most recent album by The Trews. Or AC/DC Live. Or Shaka Rock by JET.

The record I turn to when I'm down is...?

    - Feeder’s singles compilation of late. You just can’t knock “Just the Way I’m Feeling”, etc.

The record I think is the most underrated of all time is..?

    - I’m tentative to say I’m torn between “Use Your Illusion 1” and “Physical Graffiti”, both seemed to appear after their artist’s ‘heyday’ but they’re still blistering and two of my favourite albums of all time.

The record with my favourite cover art is...?

    - I’ve always been drawn to (pun-intended) Aerosmith’s album covers. “Toys in the Attic”, “Just Push Play”, “Pump” and “Music! From another Dimension” are my favourites.

The record with my favourite title is...?

    “Helpyourselfish” - D-A-D

The record I can't understand why everyone loves is....?

“Dark Side of the Moon” (or anything by Pink Floyd for that matter)

    Last record I bought?

    “Sonic Highways” - Foo Fighters

The record I'm most looking forward to in 2014...?

As above - Foo Fighters. I got caught in with the hype. The TV show, the concept… it’s cool. There’s others too - Slash, Mastodon, California Breed, Joe Bonamassa, Philip Sayce…

The greatest record of all time...?

“Get a Grip” by Aerosmith is perfect in every way for me.
