Hxfx 4cm with a preamp/ stero poweramp?

HI folks,
Anyone know whats the best way to hook up a HXfx  into a rack setup (Pre/stereo poweramp)?
Cae3+se and a mesa 2:90 to be precise!

Use an fx loop for the pre amp.

I'd go guitar -> HXFX main input -> HXFX Send 1 -> CAE 3+SE input -> CAE 3+SE output -> HXFX Return 1 -> HXFX output(s) -> Mesa 2:90

If you're going to control the HXFX via the footswitches you should probably make/order a cable loom and colour code it so you can connect it up quickly. You may well be able to control the channel and EQ switching on the CAE preamp from the HXFX.
