A lot of those "trade marks" are products, not companies. So for example kelloggs don't own as many other companies as might be implied by the pic.

However, it is somewhat sobering to think that the ownership & control of so many companies/brand names is concentrated in so few people at the top of the pile. I guess it was ever thus.
