What would be a fair price for a late 80s USA made ProCo RAT 2 pedal?

I have one - it's in very good, clean condition, if not quite mint. Had a look inside, and it has an LM308N chip - I think a Motorola one, as there is also a letter M in a circle. I have been the only owner, and it has seen very little use since I bought it (around 1989 maybe). Someone already has first refusal on it btw, but I'm just not sure what would be a realistic price?

I guess it's a tough one - people seem to be asking £100 or more on the bay. I guess I will go somewhat less than that with a view to a quick sale.

I bought one earlier in the year, exactly as you describe, for £65, posted.

Check sold and/or completed listings on Ebay - they're an indicator of what people are actually paying.

Rat2's don't tend to command as high prices as the original big box or whiteface variants (no idea why, I love mine!) I'd think you're somewhere in the £65-£85 range but would check EBay for sold listings.

Cheers @breadfan and @Beexter - that's useful information. I wasn't really planning on asking anything like £100 tbh, but just finding it hard to know where the ballpark area is.

Be sure you want to sell it first - I bought mine to replace one I'd sold just a few months previously. It's the only time I've bought a pedal twice - this one's going nowhere!

Cheers guys - anyhow, a deal has been done, so it is being sold. I'm primarily a jazz guitarist, and if I'm honest have hardly used the RAT since I bought it, probably in early 1989 (I was in the grip of a John Scofield fanboy phase IIRC)... So the buyer is getting an old US RAT in very good nick, but I'm happy it's going somewhere it will be used and appreciated.
