Computer help needed think JAVA problem

I'm currently using v1.9 and it stopped loading suddenly, would reach the point where the busy screen was and wouldn't go past. So I uninstalled it and re installed it and same problem. 

The odd thing is older versions installed on my lap still work as does the V1.91 which I've just downloaded and installed.

Why I think it might be something to do with JAVA is because when I first started V1.91 it asked for JAVA to be allowed to run.

Any ideas?

no idea, worth a try

java is constantly updated, make sure you uninstall all the old versions first, then i find it simpler to install the 'offline' version here:
http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Thanks Fazer sorted it by removing all my 1.9 back up files from my seperate A&H folder to a stick uninstalled V1.9 again shut down re started downloaded and installed the program again and it started!

 Now just need to buy a wig!
