Every one of 'em. In left to right order. And yeah I've got me tin hat on. ;)

I've seen Polly and Tori live, both very different and equally superb.

  • I remember when Tori was first starting out and played Loughborough uni.
Just her and a grand piano in one of the campus bars.
All us guys where just leaning on the piano swooning

I attended the Brit Awards once when PJ and Bjork were performing together. Must have been in about 1993 or so.

They did a cover of 'Satisfaction' with a stylophone.

It was bloody awful. the sound was crap and the crowd booed.

It was broadcast later on in the week - the broadcast had pretty much the same sound mix (maybe a little better) but the crowd were cheering like mofos on the broadcast!

    Cheeky bastard editors!

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

    PJ Harvey & Bjork - superb !.

But I'll never get the 2.5hrs of my life back from when I had to endure Tori Amos' musical The Light Princess last Christmas - 6th form fare, it was goddamn awful - people were leaving throughout.  Put me right off all her music.
Imagine something sharp and witty here ......

From left to right. Entirely agre with your assessment. Although, to be fair, both of the left two are both scary and mad, and the right one, though gorgeous, probably isn't the sanest singer in the west :)

  • Not sure what it says about me, but my first thought was "Wasn't the headline 'Hips. Lips. Tits. Power'?"

    +1

Love fiery redheads.  Dated quite a few. All hot as hell, and a bit mad.

Indeed it was, as you can see at the top of the mag cover pic above. I remember the letters page the following month being full of people frothing about how sexist it was, and Q gently pointing out that it was a feminist slogan from the 70s.

And I'm not going to make any comment about similarities with recent goings on in certain guitar forums. ;)
