Doesn't mean @racefaceec90 can no longer express his admiration and respect.  Whenever I listen to Pantera, the fact he's no longer around saddens me too.  R.I.P Dime - you were awesome!

A sad and ridiculous waste and way to end. Dimebag was a massive talent and as Deija mentioned earlier the sheer amount of groove he put into a genre that can be overly rigid and mechanical at points was astonishing. It's good to see this thread as I sometimes feel that for the talent he had, the influence he was/is and the appalling way he died his name doesn't always get remembered enough.

I hated Anselmo's vocals but loved Dime's playing.  Their camp early stuff was pretty decent too.
