It would appear I am not Steve Howe so I am putting this out to pasture.

Really fantastic condition with original case. No issues , no damage/marks to mention . Recent Pro set up with 11s at Guitar Technical Services.

Beautiful Guitar,  is that mahogany ply on the back?  I know Gibson did them that way for a while, but they are pretty rare.

Yes I think the mahogany back and sides was a late 80s only thing. I have read that it makes the tone darker but I'm not sure about that as its only a laminate- either way I only have one so no comparison to make :-)

Hi,

I have a Gibson Memphis Custom Shop ES 339 in Figured Light Burst made in 2012 which is a gorgeous thing but as I have stopped gigging now I have to divest myself of some of the collection.

An ES 175 would fit the bill as my jazz aspirations (having played with a jazz band for some years) really require a bit of work and a full jazz f-hole acoustic is the way to go. I seem to be as much an acoustic player these days as an electric one anyway

Swop would be appropriate from my point of view and I don't mind meeting halfway, which would mean (as I live in east central Scotland) somewhere around Kendal,
