Hello - my first post here and I'd like to pick your brains about a pedal I am thinking of adding to my board; the EQD Dispatch Master. Does anyone have any experience with or opinions on this one?
I'm looking for a pedal to use for big Russian Circles/Godspeed guitar sounds, both dirty and clean. I use a Shore Bird and Montavillian for this sound at the moment and they work great, but I think a reverb might fill the sound out further.
Here is the board it would be going on, most likely after the Montavillian and before the Ditto:

Dispatch master is really nice for filling out, but it also has delay...which may become overwhelming for dirt sounds...unless you turn the delay off and use purely for reverb, but then thats a waste.
i prefer to have separate delay and reverb pedals...for reverb my favourite is the EQD Ghost Echo...amazing reverb and plays nice with dirt of all kinds. I have a Distaster Transport Snr...but still have a Ghost Echo for straight reverb, and its lush.
BTW...welcome to the fretboard...I really like Russian Circles, they are an amazing band!
Agreed on Russian Circles, I got into them around the time of their Geneva album and that is still my favourite. Definitely on my list of bands to check out live!
Still keen to hear from anyone else who has owned or played the Dispatch Master.
Be prepared to spend much more than you ever imagined...
EQD DM info to follow....
It is a WONDERFUL analogue delay pedal (although I believe it may be a digital model much like a Strymon!) and the reverb is lovely. It's a permanent fixture in my home studio rig - and is an always-on pedal.
It doesn't do the oscillation thing, nor the super long ambient thing but IMHO, it's one of the most musical and inspirational delay pedals I have ever owned.
