working with sex offenders was my day job for a while about 11 or 12 years ago. Their defence was, surprisingly often, that at least they weren't asylum seekers. 8-X

I get that. I was good friends with a fella who before he met Bill and Dr Bob was a park bench alcoholic. Him and all his alkie mates would, (from their exulted park bench mind you), look down on the junkies over by the skip... "we might be alkies but at least we're not like them junkies."
