Could you love a duckling like this?

Now I loved the Gretsch Jim Dandy I tried in a shop, but I didn't buy it because it looked cheap and nasty up close (lovely from a distance mind). That was the standard coloured sunburst type one

Then this little ugly duckling turns up in Crack Converters, for fifty squids....but I just can't bring myself to get it as it looks even worse than the other one!

Can anything be done with the colour? Can it be refinished?

It would be a crime to take off such a lovely and probably rare finish! Think of the investment potential .

If you don't like the colour, buy one you like and leave the cool colours for those who appreciate them .
