Metronomes

OK apparently my nephew needs one for practice with his Saxaphone lessons. Any ideas , Was looking at Boss DB30 around £22...
Any thoughts...

I got a Boss metronome/tuner (TU-80 I think) for around £20 a couple of years ago.

I've got a couple of those left from teaching and I think they're a really good tool.

Really handy portanle unit, I carry it in my case when I'm out for a tuner. I tend to use backing track/drum track for practising rather than a metronome though.

I have a Korg one somewhere that was recommended by my son's drum teacher. I think the new equivalent is the MA 1 which is about a tenner.

I got the Korg tm 40 years ago. One of the best things I've ever bought. Can be used to tune both electric and acoustic guitar too.
