Sanyo Eneloop Pedal Juice has died, should I get the Pedaltrain Volto?

I've had the Sanyo Eneloop KBC-9V3U Pedal juice for a couple of years and had great success using it for small boards but it appears to have developed an incurable fault. The warranty has long since expired and Sanyo/Panosonic have been bloomin' useless. Assuming I need a replacement, what do folks think of the Pedaltrain Volto?

Cheers,

C.

I have a volto on my board to power 3 dirt pedals. My voodoo labs pp2 doesn't have enough outputs..so I have both on the go. But anyway the volto is good for that kind of use...just wouldn't have it running power hungry digital pedals. How it compares to the sanyo I cant say but the volto isn't as great as it's marketing hype IMO.

I haven't used one, but I have heard the same thing being said a few times

  • The Volto looks nice, but just to throw another option into the pot...   I just use a 9.6v rechargeable battery (8 AA-size NiMH cells) and a daisy chain cable.  Works brilliantly for a fraction of the price, and much higher capacity.
