    he retired after heart guitars but just before that he started Jordan guitars specialising in carbon necks, I had a Jordan strat and it was amazing!
    after that he decided to knock it all on the head.

  • I would just like to say that my dear Brother Steve Smith passed away on the 14th May 2015 .. His funeral will be on June 10th at Woodlands Burial Grounds .. Hinton Park near Christchurch Dorset @ 3pm .. Anyone who knew Steve are more than welcome to attend The Celebration of his Life and his Burial .. Thank you Angela Lodge ..

    ahh, terrible news 
    @colourcoded, I had the good fortune of meeting steve a number of times,
    I have some great memories of sitting in his kitchen ,having a cup of tea and a biscuit
    while various world famous guitar players dropped by.
    My condolences  to you and your family.I'm truly saddened for your loss and wish i'd made the journey to 
    see him far more often :(
