Can anyone recommend an Ipad air 2 case?

Need to pick one up.

The reviews on the official Apple one are not filling me with much confidence.

There are a couple on amazon that seem OK but have a couple of 'does not fit' reviews,

Anyone have an Ipad air 2 in a case they can vouch for?

Not an air2 one, but I have a Herschel for my Retina Mini that's excellent. "Anchor Sleeve" by the looks of the website. They do Air ones too.

I've got a rather nice leather case on my Air1. Look for the Kavaj brand.

I am typing this from my Air 2, I have one of the Apple Smart Covers that just folds over the screen and is attatched by magnets at the side. It's been great so far! Really depnds upon your needs from the iPad though, if you still need it to be slim and light then I'd suggest you do what I have done and get the Smart cover, a Matte screen protector, and a neoprene sleeve for it all to go in. I also have an amazon basics bluetooth keyboard that I'm typing this on. It's alright, but I can't really use the keyboard if I have the iPad on my lap. If you need to sit and type on your lap, or always need a keyboard attatched then there are a couple decent keyboard combi cases out there. But they're a fair bit thicker. It's also dependant upon your budget, but I wouldn't skimp out on a case for a tablet that's just cost you £400+ only to drop it and have the case fail so you still smash your screen. If you are accident prone there are several seriously protective ones out there, but they are seriously bulky. Identify your needs, establish a budget and then think about the case that works for you

On my Old Ipad I always used a rear shell and a smart cover.

my option seem to be rear shell(1 on amazon for £20 just hope its a good fit!) and a smart cover.

Or the Kavaj case.

@TTony does the Kavaj case work with the auto on off?

Got a survivor case for £40 which is a lot but I'm mixing gigs on our Air so need the protection. Quite impressed with it

I've got an Air 2 and have just bought one of these - http://www.mofredproducts.com/mofred-black-tan-apple-ipad-air-2-2014-2015-version-leather-case-mofred-p64 - I got it from amazon, for a little less, I think, than the price here. It fits the Air 2 fine. They also sent me a free screen protector and stylus. The only thing it doesn't have is a loop for a stylus but apart from that, it seems very good quality for the price.

Yes, I would recommend an iPad 2 case.

Does very much depend what you want. I wanted front and back protection, but nothing too heavy. The forefront cases on Amazon are great, and cheap too - well under a tenner even with postage.
