Our work's Xmas raffle usually has some decent stuff and this year I won first prize!

So first question is...

What's an Xbox One?!

I've got a PS3 but really only use it for DVDs, blurays, ,media etc. I used to stay up to date with the latest gaming tech but not so much in recent years. 

I'll probably keep it as I'm assuming it will do the media thing better than the PS3 but I'd appreciate any "idiot's guide" you good folk can offer. I might get back into gaming but probably only on a very casual basis. It came with FIFA 15 which is cool.

Mainly gaming I would say....if your not into that either.....sell on.

Not sure how much gaming I'll do really, I'm away from home a lot so don't have the time these days. Depends if it offers much more media wise compared to my PS3.

I won a night for two in a posh hotel in a competition at work (cycled most miles in a cycle to work type promotion). Problem is, there's no Mrs Thermionic, or even a likely candidate on the horizon. I won a tickets for two thing in a draw last year as well. Hopefully I can give it away to someone.
