Joe Strummer left the building.
Needless to say, I'm having a 101ers, Clash and Joe/Mescaleros night tonight.
The Tele's been getting a bashing too.
If there's a heaven I hope he's gigging this evening.

I remember exactly where I was.  Was a Sunday night and I was sat in a pub in Blantyre, Scotland, I was gobsmacked.  I went up to the jukebox and put on London Calling and the whole pub started cheering.  It was a very moving moment.
