It's a motorised venetian blind circuit. I cannot be arsed to pull them by up and down by hand anymore and thought it would help me wake up in the morning if they went up automatically each morning. So I'm going to wrap the three draw cords around a long tube on a tubular shutter motor unit instead.
Two channel RF module with momentary switched relays (Hold A to get blinds Up and hold B to draw them Down) NC (Normally closed on the relays connects to timer/manual switch which is off at rest)
Also has a timer on it and the motor has integral limit switches which can be set which are inside the tube.
I think it's safe as the relay switches are basically in series. The motor has two lives wires, a neutral and an earth, I can't use a reverse polarity circuit, because the neutral has to be hardwired, so if I did I could select up and down at the same time and fry the motor.
I tried washing my hands but they are kind of stained with grease, dirt, paint and lawn cuttings.
I reckon it will be about £55 to motorise each wooden venetian blind (B&Q/Homebase type), including specialist 10nm motor with timer switch and a cheap two channel RF module and a few improvised and bodged up hardware fittings, like motor tube, guides and bracket supports.
If this works, next project will be a magnetic relay contact switch for the lights on the shed or indoors if I fit leds and an over ride.
