Thinking of flipping a digidelay and buying a dd7.

Surely I wouldn't be gaining that much apart from the looper.

    I know right!

I'm putting together a proper little board for once.

Allowing myself one last purchase before I start saving for my wedding :)

I think this would be a pretty nice setup:

£119 is a large price for the dd7 mind when I already have a digidelay.

I highly recommend the mini instead of nano. The nano is slightly too small to be of any proper use unless you are either super minimalist, making a practice board, or play the bass. Even hardwire pedals are a tad too big for them.

You'll have space for a tap tempo for your dd7 if you ever want to add it, or a spare pedal spot.

I've seen divide lays go second hand for as little as 75 , also external tap.

I'm pretty minimalist these days :)

I just play at home so it will essentially be my practice board.

  • Ultimately is not most GAS fundamentally unnecessary?!

I know you might not want to expand your board too much but if you like the Digidelay but if you really want a simple looper how about a Ditto (as a dedicated one and cheaper than a DD7) and keep the Digi?

  • ^^ would be my choice
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
