How to make New Year's Day last longer

For many of us, I'm guessing that NYD is the last day of the Chrissy hols ...

So, you need to stretch the day out.  Really make it last.  Make it feel a whole lot longer than the normal 24 hours.

To help you, Radio 4 are broadcasting a "dynamic dramatisation" of War & Peace during the day, in hour-long chunks.

0900-1000; part 1

1000-1100; part 2

1100-1200; part 3

1200-1300; part 4

(have a break)

1415-1500; part 5

1500-1600; part 6

1600-1700; part 7

1700-1800; part 8

(have another break)

1915-2015; part 9

2015-2130; part 10

I'm a fan of r4 dramas in general and often have them on my iPod ... but that might be pushing it just a bit.
