Fortunately I don't usually get hangovers.  Yesterday morning, despite not drinking the night before I woke up with a migraine that felt like someone was trying to remove my brain through my eye socket using rusty tweezers.  In contrast last night I thought WTF, can't get any worse, so polished off a bottle of Baileys with the wife, 4 bottles of cider and half a bottle of wine and I feel fantastic this morning.  Hence I feel this may have to become prescribed preventative behaviour.

I've drunk far too much over the last week but seeing as I'm not back at work until Monday I intend to carry on regardless.Family round for dinner today,drinks with friends tomorrow,detox over the weekend.

Didn't touch a drop last night (working) out for a curry tonight though. Trouble with that is I will be too full to drink much, will have a few whisky's when i get home.

Balls to drinking for me. After a three year break from alcohol I thought I'd chance a cheeky tipple or two over the Christmas period; it's not like I'd go over board, I thought.  I had a glass of wine one night and a pint of 2% lager the next.  Felt absolutely shite for doing so. Never again I'm afraid.

Just been chatting to my son who was running a shift of night buses last night.  The best docket said,

"Soiled bus:
bottle of champagne,
kebab,
and vomit". 

Which I thought sounded like a Haiku to New Year's Eve.

Didn't wake up till lunchtime though (after going back to sleep as some twat left his alarm set "for workdays").

Excellent night with Alnico at the Cambridge jam though.

Ugh don't come close. I still feel drunk now as well as hungover more than a really hungover thing with a hangover
