Anyone good with computers and computer game errors? (PC)

Downloaded a modded version of a game but can't get it to work, it seems a few people have had a similar error and the mod authors have  said that direct x 9 and 11 are needed.

Im running windown 8.1 64 bit so it has dx 11.2 already and I have just got some backwards redistributable direct x9 installed but it still wont work

error is  XR_3DA.EXE - Application Error (0xc000007b)

Not really sure what to do...............
