    Ouch that has to hurt! I've been in on days off when working odd shift patterns but never been in early after a holiday! I trust your work colleagues were suitably sympathetic?

     They all pissed themselves laughing!


    But I did arrange a few jam session dates with a drummer and a bass player I work with, so wasn't a complete waste of a day.

    I'd take being ripped by work colleagues to get to go home right now....my motivation is non-existent, luckily I can hide a bit today and hope I'm more productive tomorrow-Enjoy your day off mate.

    Got in half hour late :(

    spent the morning catching up on emails and occurrences from the 2 weeks I was off before Christmas.

    Got a phone call to say my Patent application has been formally filed :D

    Tried to make headway on a project only to go round in circles all afternoon.

    Left telling myself the first day back is the worst and tomorrow will be more productive.

    I went back today. Only got 5 hours sleep, turned up to work and found out that the van we use wouldn't start so we spent a good couple of hours trying to sort that out then I had an easy day really. 

    Still, wish I could rewind time by 2 weeks

    I checked my emails - none.

    Took in one job - sorting out a loose and split bridge on an old Eko acoustic. I'll start it tomorrow ;)

    Played my bass so as to set levels with my new wah.

    Played my acoustic through my new pedals and added a Liqua-Flange to the mix too.

    Listened to the radio and watched a bit of darts.

    er, that was about it, so a tough first day back !  :)


    . . . I forgot, I also unblocked the bathroom sink (not a euphemism) so busier than I thought !

    I did exactly the same on Friday, only to find out I wasn't back until today. Colleagues behaved just like yours, until I announced that I was going to go home and straight back to bed (@7:00 a.m). Revenge was sweet :)
