Wanted - Some sort of (Cheap) Acoustic Guitar MultiFX thingy

Something to add a little reverb/chorus to my acoustic through the PA whislt also acting as a DI box

Like an old BOSS AD5 or suchlike

  • Yeah I think that might be what I go for - they seem to go for about 70£ ish and I've owned one before - wasn't sure how it would handle an acoustic

  • I just have mine set so the output level from G3 into an amp would be the same as the guitar straight into amp, and a patch called DI that has the relevant effects (compressor, EQ, delay). The only downside as a DI is there is no pad switch but I've only ever needed one once, and that was pilot error by the soundman.

    There is a Zoom acoustic MFX but by all accounts it is fiddly to use.
