powering a fuzz....

fed up with keep running batteries out so looking to go the diago route.

Am I right in thinking that a diago positive ground adaptor matched with a one of these:


will power it ok..??

  • It depends if the fuzz is actually centre positive.  Just because it is positive ground doesn't mean the plug is centre positive and in fact the vast majority of more modern fuzz builds (DAM, Fulltone etc) are positive ground but still with negative centre so you'll need to check first.

  • The 69 is centre positive I believe so yes you'll need one of those leads too.

    I know it's a pita but batteries really are the best way for fuzzes imo. They sound better than consistent power from a PSU and avoid all issues of polarity screwing up your fuzzes
