    For what it's worth, there's a Chrome plugin for remote control of XBMC-based systems. We tend to just have the Chromebook open somewhere near the sofa and use that as a remote when our phones are busy.
    Also, you can just type the IP address into any browser on the local network and remote control it that way too - iirc the port is 8080 by default. You might have to switch the webserver on in the settings somewhere, can't remember.

    Handy if I'm on the lappie doing other things, I just leave a browser tab open.

  • It all works perfectly. A little slow on the music menues probably because there is a lot of music on there.
