Well had the shittiest first week back from the Christmas break and not the nicest week before the break when i was put on 90 day at risk of redundancy.
It didnt feel so bad as i was told theres 3 people including me doing the job and only 2 positions moving ahead but then this week get pulled into head office to be told its worse and the whole place can apply for my job, I'm on a 12 Month temp contact so folk on perm contract have more rights.

Come March its likely I'll have no job and my feckin kitchen it leaking water to add to the hassle.

Think I'm going to have to sell my lovely g and l sc2 or downsize for a cheaper axe plus cash during this shit period. Cant have an expensive (for me) guitar whilst potentially out of work, plus i need the roof patching :-(

If anyone likes this or has a guitar that could trade plus cash please let me know. Nothing's set in stone yet but I'm panicking a little and would like options



Comes with case and certificate, custom made for me in October 14.

After some consultation id be looking at £650 cash - now £550

That sucks dude. Not interested in the guitar unfortunately, but if you get stuck I've got a cheap strat copy you can have till you get into a more stable financial situation..

Thanks guys, third time 4 years , should be used to it I guess but wasn't actually expecting this , thought id get into June at least then get an extension as iv done pretty good in this role.

My mrs has just dropped hours at work to finish her teaching placement too lol!!!

Went into panic mode really and this lovely guitar is the only thing that will bring some dosh in.

Sorry to hear that 2015 didnt do you any favours so far. Maybe it will turn out all right? Not sure I get what you are looking for, but how about a Squier Custom with the P90s - closest cheap pickup to a G&L MFD? - and 500? Is that in the right ballpark? Also have a Reverend with dual P90s but that would leave you with only 300 cash. Forgive me if I've misunderstood at this late hour. All the best.

Not really wanted to bump this but ..

Redundancy still looms , should know about my job within 2 weeks but have an interview hooked up thursday elsewhere - job search is depressing though.

I know iv priced this ambitiously kind of on purpose due to not really wanting to sell. Gonna be a tough month financially no matter what happens with the job so if anyone wants to make a sensible offer let me know
