Next stop may just be a G&L S500.  There's one on here, but the price is nowhere near as choice as yours and there is mention of fret wear.   Just gotta bide time.  And sell one more item first too.

That'll be mine - to be fair I think monquixote got that guitar at a very good / desperate seller price. Still, that's the market and there are bargains to be had. I can photograph the fret wear if you like, or if you're ever near Nottingham you're welcome to take a look - I just mention it in the listing for clarity rather than because it's an issue.
