Well, whatever way you look at it, it's technically not an A. The thread stipulates A. Thus taken to imply A major only. Thus, Asus, A2, Am, Am7 etc would all be allowed?

Though if you really want to be super picky I guess Asus and A2 do contain the note A. I mean does it count if it's in a chord?
