Loving the finish Andy. That colour is amazing. Can't wait to see the finished article. I'm sure it will be pure class. Been quiet here modding wise. Saving for a weekend away with the Mrs. Will start something else over the summer.

It's finished.

I'll post some sound clips shortly but here is is in its finished glory 

It will be popping up in the Classifieds soon, although I've got no idea at the moment what price-point to pitch it at.  I'm pleased how it's turned out though, looking and playing.

I'll pop the final pics also in the Guitars section for those who don't like crawling through epic threads...

Nice job Andy and I agree, the colour has come out perfectly. Somebody is going to get a seriously nice guitar if/when you sell it.

I really do love the colour and finish - a gorgeous pure rich red, but also the grain and figuring of the wood shows through really well. A triumph anyhow Andy, my congratulations.

Sound clips done

Recorded on  a Zoom H2n with lots of computer fan background noise.  Many of you will be used to the rubbish playing by now...

Assuming I've got soundcloud working properly:

Clean in all 5 positions from neck to bridge 

Light overdrive in all positions from neck to bridge

Using vibrato, including dive and and returning to pitch

I'm thinking of putting it into the classifieds at about £275...sound about right?  If it doesn't sell, I'll probably keep it (which I still might do anyway)

Wow Andy, what a beauty. Sounds great too. Someone is gonna get one hell of a guitar for not a lot of dough, if that's what you're selling for. I'd buy it in a second if I had the spare cash at the moment. But I have 2 kids birthdays, 2 inlaws birthdays and car insurance and BT bill all this month. You'll have no problems finding a good home for it.

Yeah - I think someone's in for a real bargain but I'm just being realistic about the market value of what is essentially a bitsa (albeit with one or two very nice bits     )

As I say, if it doesn't sell, I'll probably sell my unused Gibson 60's Tribute P90 LP Studio instead and keep this one.
