I've spent absolutely ages trying to get a genuine Paisley pattern up and running, whilst I've found the various incarnations of the pink pattern I simply can't work out how to isolate the paisleys in the pattern and include a textured silver background into the mix. It's taken as I said at the start years to collect the patterns I want, so does anyone know how to cut the background out and layer in the silver texture from where the white is removed from my pattern? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Once done, create a layer mask. If there's still some white left in there, use the refine edge tool before you make the mask.
